An exciting opportunity to join dietitian founded prebiotic gut healthy snacking brand, Uplift Food, in a diverse role that will see your nutritional knowledge utilized in creative and communication focused initiatives. Work alongside the CEO in this fast paced start up leading the digital and marketing content creation, affiliate program development, brand partnerships, public relations efforts, intern management, customer enquiries, as well as supporting overall business development and administrative tasks required to assist the sales team grow the business. Marketing, digital marketing or business development focused experience will be highly regarded. Experience utilizing canva, shopify, affiliatly, various social media platforms and digital tools is preferred. Personal attributes required to be successful in this role include, but are not limited to, autonomous worker, self-motivated, team player, agile and efficient, as well as pay attention to detail and have a creative mind. This role can be a part-time or full time role dependent on the candidate and level of experience – all experience levels are encouraged to apply – we are looking for the right personal fit, whose role will grow with the company. Sharon Palmer, The Plant-Powered Dietitian, is accepting applications for her fall internship which runs August 1 - October 30. Intern must be available to work at least 10 hours per week during the period of this internship, with stipend for the completed internship offered to student. Student must be in third or fourth year of nutrition program to apply. Opportunities available for onsite projects in Southern California, but not necessary for this virtual internship. Experiences include: writing, blogging, photography, videos, social graphics, research, interviews, media events, marketing, plant-based nutrition, integrative nutrition, sustainability, and more.
